The differences between Akbari and Ahmad Aghai pistachios

  • Akbari’s shell is slightly darker than  Ahmad Aghaei pistachios, 
  • Akbari is one of the large pistachios and is generally larger than Ahmad Aghaei.
    Ahmad Aghaei pistachios are lighter in color than Akbari. 
  • The average number of Akbari pistachios is 700 to 800 per kilogram. 
  • The average number of Ahmad Aghaei pistachios is 800 to 900 per kilogram.
  • Ahmad Aghaei pistachios have a more resistant shell than Akbari pistachios.
  • The moisture percentage of both pistachios is about 4%.
  • Both types are suitable for serving.

               

Ahmad Aghai Pistachios Cultivar

This pistachio cultivar was first identified by Ahmad Agha Forootan in Ahmadieh Nogh village in Rafsanjan city and is currently one of the best pistachio cultivars in the country and has recently been considered by many gardeners.

Ahmad Aghaei pistachio tree has medium growth power and extensive growth. The height of this tree is medium and the width of its crown is large. Ahmad Aghaei is one of the early flowering cultivars and is in the early ripening category in terms of fruiting time.

This cultivar has been largely cultivated in the last few years due to its relatively large almond-shaped fruits and white bony skin. The most marketable property of this cultivar is its white bony skin and it is a very marketable product. Pistachios are nutritious nuts and are most commonly used today. We are often accustomed to eating large quantities of pistachios in one day, but it is better to consume small amounts of pistachios at daily intervals to make their extraordinary properties more effective. Pistachios are hematopoietic due to the presence of iron and will be useful for those who suffer from Anemia.
